This week the 欧美日b大片 General Assembly was disrupted by the severe winter weather that impacted not only 欧美日b大片 but a good portion of the country. The 欧美日b大片 Senate decided last weekend to cancel this week鈥檚 activities. The 欧美日b大片 House held technical session on both Monday and Tuesday and then convened for hearings and floor action on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development presented the Governor鈥檚 budget recommendations before the House Budget Committee. The committee is currently taking testimony from all state departments while subcommittees work on their budgets to provide to the House Budget Chairman prior to markups.
Also on Wednesday, President Choi visited the Capitol to meet with House Leadership and Governor Parson.
At noon on Wednesday, the House Health and Mental Health Committee heard testimony on House Bill 681, Representative Jason Chipman鈥檚 Health Care Fee鈥檚 bill.
Next week the legislature is scheduled to pick back up at full pace again and we anticipate a busy week.
